Vickie Lynn Pennell

Vickie Lynn Pennell, 50, of Campbells Creek, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born November 23, 1966, to the late Alma Monk. Along with her mother, she is preceded in the death by her grandmother, Margaret Hodge. Vickie was a member of Springfork Baptist Church. She was loved by everyone she met and would do anything for anyone. She was dearly loved by her children and grandchildren. Vickie was a healthcare provider with WV Aging. She is survived by her loving husband, Talmage “Todd” Pennell; children, Kayla (Michael) Pennell, Jacob (Becky Jo) Malcolm, Alysia (Drew) Pennell, Talmage (Victoria) Pennell and Aidan Pennell; grandchildren, Landon, Melody, Josie, Audrey, Journey, Kinlei and Alec; aunt and uncle, Crystal and Butch Cantrell, who were like parents to her; and Brandi, Butchie and Mike, who were like brothers and sisters; special friends, Ruthie, Susie, Terra, JoEllen, Stephanie, Loree, Diana and Jamie. To anyone that Vickie has touched in their life please feel free to come and pay your respects on Monday, December 19, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden. The funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden with Pastor Mike Long officiating. The burial will follow the service in Pence Cemetery, Campbells Creek. The family would also like to give a special thanks to her Springfork Baptist Church family.
