I am so, so sorry Kelly. I have many fond memories of Bill and of you from your high school days.  I can’t begin to tell you how sad the announcement about Bill on Facebook made my heart feel. I don’t know if you remember me, but I taught English at East Bank. The thing that sticks out in my mind about Bill is his infectious smile. I’m smiling as I am writing this. You can’t help but smile when you think of Bill. Sweet Kelly, words are so insufficient when it comes to trying to find the right words to say. I pray that you and your family will feel the presence of God holding you close as you think about Bill and all the wonderful memories that come to mind. I wish that I could give you a big hug. May God bless you and your family Kelly. ❤️

Billy,  was a wonderful person, I was his Aunt,and I had the pleasure of baby sitting him and his brothers  and sister. He will never be forgotten . I can see his smiling face,he was a special person,one of a kind. Loved by all.

Bill was a one of a kind! Always the biggest smile and never met a stranger. He would just light up a room with his bubbly personality.

Remembering Billy is easy. He was one of the sweetest, most jovial people I have had the privilege of knowing. The Class of '76 was blessed to have him, as was the world, His love and joy was infectious. RIP my friend. Prayers for peace and comfort for the family.

Having grown up with Bill it is so easy to say he was "One of a Kind".
Bill was a very kind and caring person, his enthusiasm for life never let him meet a stranger, he would strike up a conversation in a second and you would know immediately he was your friend for life.  During conversations you just knew his wife, children, and family were a huge source of pride for him. Rest in peace Bill, Love and Prayers for the entire Family.

I was in the East Bank High School class of 1976 with Billy, as I always called him.  I honestly don’t think I ever saw him without a smile on his face. At our high school reunions he was exactly the same caring and hilarious guy that he always was. And he always mentioned his family, it was very obvious that they meant the world to him. Prayers to Kelly and the entire family. Billy will be missed by so many. ❤️🙏🏻

I was a year ahead of Billy. I remember him playing baseball. Was a nice guy. I have thought of him over the years. He played baseball with my cousin Eric Smith. My prayers are with his family.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Great memories of Billy keeping us all laughing hysterically while sitting around the cafeteria table at EBHS back in the day. Billy was always kind and friendly. Great memories and great times.  Fly high my friend.

He was many things to many people but to our family he was a schoolmate, a coach to our son, a staunch football/baseball supporter for both sons, and most precious of all he was our friend. We grew up being close as cousins can be from different states. We always loved spending time together at family reunions. Billy as I knew him had the best sense of humor and I never saw him without a smile on his face. I will miss him and hope to make it to his celebration of life later.

I remember Bill, Kelly, Brandy and Justin being at Donnie's viewing.  I have known this  wonderful family a long time and have the utmost appreciation in calling them friends.  I have all of you in my prayers at this difficult time.

I went to school with Billy and am heartbroken that he is gone.  I moved away straight out of high school but Billy’s bubbly, friendly personality was never forgotten.
