He was a graduate of DuPont High School, a U.S. Navy veteran and was a self-employed contractor and handyman.
Randy was born in Charleston on September 9, 1955, to the late Hugh W. and Maxine Matheny Morris; also preceding him in death was his wife and love of his life, Joann Lynn Morris; and stepson, Brad Rhodes.
He is survived by his brother, Rodney (Joyce) Morris of Charleston; former mother-in-law, Rose Parker; niece, Kathy Morris (fiancé, David) of Franklin, North Carolina; and his cousins and friends.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 25, 2022 at Collins Cemetery, Tad, with Pastor Mike Long officiating. The burial will follow the service where he will be laid to rest next to his wife, Joann.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 3:00–5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden.
