William Claude Siders, 79, of Campbells Creek, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at his residence. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was born in Charleston on November 14, 1935, to the late William Cody and Rena Mae Gill Siders. Claude was a retired United States Air Force Chief Senior Master Sergeant serving during the Korean Conflict and the Viet Nam era and was also retired from the United States Postal Service. He attended Springfork Missionary Baptist Church. Claude was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Anna M. Siders; daughter, Kelly Ann Siders Woods; and sister, Joann Siders. He is survived by sons, Claude Donald Siders and Dale Cody Siders, both of Campbells Creek; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members. The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2015, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with Pastor Mike Long officiating. The burial will follow the service with military honors in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville. Family and friends will gather for the visitation Thursday, April 30, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
