Born in Camden, NJ on January 27, 1940. She married the love of her life, Jim in 1962. They moved to Orlando, Florida in 1973 and resided in the same home for 52 years before she settled in Egg Harbor Township last year.
Prior to retiring, she was a Certified Diamond Gemologist for Kay Jewelers for over 25 years while living in Orlando. Anna was an avid lover of games, specifically cards, bingo, and cribbage. She was famous for saying “just one more game” when playing cards. Anna was a member of the VFW Ladies' Auxiliary and enjoyed playing bingo at Post 4287 in Orlando. With her husband, she was actively involved in various levels of scouting events. Together, they maintained their involvement in the organization well after their two sons reached the rank of Eagle Scout. Anna was also a Lady Shriner and participated in Shrine and Masonic events with her husband and their son Jimmy.
Anna was the type of person who made friends anywhere she went. Her beautiful social personality and humorous character made her someone loved and remembered by all she encountered. She was often referred to and will always be remembered as "Mom Moore" by friends, family, and the community.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Jim, of 50 years in 2012; and by her siblings: Betty Littlejohn and Bob Emely.
Surviving are her children: Jimmy Moore; David Moore; Beth McLaughlin and her husband Jim; her grandchildren: Cameron, Caylynn, Collin, Zachary, Justin, and Jordan; and many other extended family members and friends.
