Anne is survived by Tom, her beloved husband of 50 years, her sisters, Susan and Jane, her sisters-in-law, Linda (m.Joseph) and Tina (m.Larry) as well as her nieces and nephew: Lori, Billy, Christine (m.David) and Deanna (m.Ben).
Anne was a talented fine artist and graphic designer. She started her own company ‘Anne Giacalone Graphic Design’ before merging with her partners at MGT Design. Her work included designing literature and annual reports for many large corporations as well as promotional artwork.
Anne was an extremely talented and creative woman. She enjoyed painting, either in oils, acrylics or watercolors. Their home, as well as many family and friends' homes, are adorned with some of her beautiful works. Ballet and singing were other passions of this multi-talented woman.
Tom and Anne loved outings on their sailboat and dinners with friends at the Brant Beach Yacht Club. A thousand miles driven over the years throughout southern NJ, was always a great adventure. But the ocean was always calling. Long Beach Island was their home away from home for many years until they took up full time residency 25 years ago and built their dream home. Consummate entertainers, Tom and Anne filled their home with food and gallons of wine for all their family and friends.
Anne was a joy to be around. But above all else, her husband was the greatest love in her life, and she enjoyed every moment they were together.
