Daniel F Bergin

Daniel F. Bergin, 88, of Manahawkin, NJ passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021. Born in Paterson, NJ, he resided in North Jersey with his wife Elaine where they raised their family. Upon his retirement, they moved to Manahawkin, NJ.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife Elaine, his son Daniel, and his two sisters; Mary Ellen Bergin and Catherine Sniffen.

Daniel is survived by his loving children; Sharon Finnigan and her husband Skip, Raymond Bergin and his wife Maggie, Lisa Winkler and her husband Chris and Mary Fletcher and her husband Tracy. He is also survived by his 12 cherished grandchildren, his 3 precious great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Daniel served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy and he loved being by the ocean. He was a long-time member of the Knights of Columbus as well as an usher at St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church. He enjoyed bowling, golf and long car rides.

The funeral service will be private.
