Born in Toms River, David spent most of his life in Ocean County, NJ. He attended Southern Regional HS in Manahawkin, NJ where he displayed outstanding talent in drama and theater. His friends will remember him for his comic nature and great sense of humor and as a caring and thoughtful person. He enjoyed working as a cook and in the building trades. He is survived by his father, Ronald Ference of Waretown, NJ, his mother, Valerie Toth of Bedford, Virginia, his sister, Sheryl Hopping and his niece Devon Crutchley, both of Fort Myers, Florida and his brother, Daniel Ference of Waretown, NJ.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr, Manahawkin, NJ on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 10:00am with a memorial service beginning at 11:00am
