Donald B Walters

Don was a veteran of World War II and served in the US Army. He was a fire chief, fire commissioner and life member of the Iselin Chemical Hook & Ladder Fire Company No. 11. He was also a member of the Iselin Colonia Relief Association.

Surviving are his loving wife of 62 years Helen (Rickerhauser) Walters, two sons and a daughter; Don and Kathleen Walters of Newburyport, Ma; Gary and Sharon Walters of Milltown, NJ and Catherine and Joseph Bondi of Newtown, Pa.; nine wonderful grandchildren and four beautiful great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday June 9 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the Thos L Shinn Funeral Home in Manahawkin, NJ. A brief service will be held at 8:15 PM and personal messages from all are welcomed from 8:30-9PM. All other services will be private.
