Born in South Amboy, she resided in Sayreville, until moving to Manahawkin where she resided for the last 46 years.
Eileen was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Platt, Sr. and her son Richard Platt.
Eileen is survived by her son, Thomas Platt, Jr., her daughter Brenda Platt and her son Edward and his wife Erin, and her 3 grandchildren, Brielle, Carly and Trista
A visitation will be Tuesday, December 15th, at the Thos L.Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Drive, Manahawkin, NJ 08505 from 5PM until 8 PM.
Funeral services will be held, Wednesday, December 16th, 11Am at the Thos L Shinn Funeral Home 10 Hilliard Drive, Manahawkin, NJ 08050
Burial will take place immediately after the services at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Manahawkin, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, Eileen’s family requests memorial contributions in her memory to the Friends of Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter, 321 Hay Road , Manahawkin, NJ 08050.
