Enrique Rodriguez

On September 2nd, 2012, Enrique Rodriguez Martinez entered into his rest with the Lord and his mother, Josefina Rodriguez, who has been waiting to welcome him home. He was born on July 15th, 1945 in Marianao Cuba. He was fortunate to arrive in the United States in the late 60s and never returned to his homeland. He was a beacon of light and very much loved by all who knew him. He loved life and found goodness in simple things while always keeping a bright smile. He enjoyed singing songs, sharing a good laugh, eating chocolate, sitting by the garden and loved life. His young and tender heart was a true blessing from God and words cannot express how much he will be missed. He was predeceased by his mother Josefina Rodriguez, his father Jose Isabel Rodriguez and his one older brother Jose M. Rodriguez. He is survived by his devoted family including niece Maria Tamburro, her husband Thomas Tamburro, great nieces Victoria, Alexandra, Georgina and Carmela and a second niece Miriam Rodriguez with great niece and nephew Katelyn and Christian. He is also survived by a sister-in-law who loved him like a sister, Maria Rodriguez. The family is thankful to God for the time we had to share with the gift of Enrique. He will be laid to rest in a private funeral.
