Frank Vincent Panzone Jr. 55 of Beach Haven passed away after a heroic fight with Esophageal Cancer on Monday, November 26, 2012 in his home. Born November 16, 1957 he grew up in Mt. Laurel, NJ. He and his devoted wife Joyce, moved to Beach Haven where they opened Panzone’s Pizza in 1980 and Panzone’s Pizza of Surf City in 1984. He dedicated his life to his family, his businesses, and his community. He was a loving husband, father and friend to many.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Joyce (nee Riddell) and his daughters, Kristin and Jillian, as well as his parents, Frank & Lisa Panzone and his in laws Jim & Joan Riddell.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 11 am at St. Mary of the Pines in Manahawkin, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made in honor of Frank to St Francis of Assisi Parish or St Francis Center 4700 Long Beach Boulevard Brant Beach, NJ 08008 or David’s Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation, 28 Magnolia Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.
