AGE: 84 BARNEGAT
Frederick H. Smith, 84, of Barnegat, passed away Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, with his loving family by his side. Frederick was a WWII veteran, who served on the USS Dennis J. Buckley 808 in the Pacific. He was also a member of the Masons.
He was predeceased by his wife, Eve H.; and a son, Frederick H. Smith Jr. He is survived by his son, Paul Smith of NJ; daughters, Carol and her husband, Mike Hanna of NJ, Beverley and her husband, Michael Egolf of NJ, Victoria Vitkuske of NJ, and Eve and her husband Bill Van Horn of NJ; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private. Thos. L. Shinn Funeral Home, Manahawkin, is entrusted with the arrangements.
