Harold L Hawkes

Born on December 15, 1939, in Peekskill, NY, Harold was a devoted husband, father, grandpa, Uncle and friend.

He was drafted into the military and served in the Army Branch, from 1967-1969. Harold was an incredibly talented artist, church organist, and baker. He moved people throughout the years with his works and talents.

Harold is survived by his son, Bryan Hawkes & wife Victoria Hawkes; daughter Ashley & fiancé Jason Stevens, daughter Lisa & husband Randy Lange; grandchildren: Nick & Marissa Hawkes, Jordan Hawkes, Christian Hawkes, Eddie Lange and Matthew Lange; great grandchildren, Amelia and Eliana Hawkes and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He has joined his loving wife Cheryl Hawkes who predeceased Harold.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 23 at 1:00 PM, Zion Lutheran Church, 18th Street and Central Ave, Barnegat Light, NJ 08006. Repass to follow at 3:00 PM, Ship Bottom Fire House, 2006 Central Ave, Ship Bottom, NJ 08008.
