It’s been  5  years. I still find myself thinking about something funny we shared and wanting to call and reminisce with you. We were more sisters than friends. Memories we shared from our younger days were things we had in common.  Growing up in the projects  we bonded instantly. And we had tons to talk about. 
You were a great mom. I used to be in awe on your great way to keep your kids in line. You never gave up. You had great kids and I know they miss you terribly.  I miss you and love you sis. 
 I hope you are somewhere better. Till we meet again.

Every year we celebrate together ❤️ on June 8th. You left me on this day 😪 but your free of the issue that held you from being you. RIP

A year has passed already. I think of you always. I miss our phone calls and reminiscing about our days in Barnegat. You were a lady who had a heart of gold. Your family was your first love. I know they miss you so much. 
I hope you are with Bob and Tony and give my Thomas a hug from me. I love you!

I found out late July 2020.

That is my Aunt Alice Long! My mom Florence and Alice are sisters. Now they both get to hang out in heaven with Uncle Bob and Nephew Tony and more. Tony is Aunt Alice son.

I spoke to Aunt Alice by phone in the middle of spring 2020. We always have a good time talking by phone.

I will never forget you Aunt Alice. You are a great and wonderful aunt and a wonderful mother to your kids.

 I will always remember the good times we all had since I was a kid. I love you. You will always be in my heart and my memory. I love you so much. I will miss you a lot.

I have a rose for you and it is sitting next to mom's urn here in my place in memory of you Aunt Alice. 

I pray for everyone in the family. Love you all.

Alice had a wonderful smile. Every time that I saw her smile it made her eyes twinkle. Her laugh was so contagious you couldn't help but laugh too. She's in heaven now in the arms of her savoir.

I have no words to express how much my heart hurts with Alice’s passing. Friends for more than 40 years. We raised our children together and shared the same ideas on life and raising our children. She is one heck of a strong woman. And never was bitter about some of the not so good times she had. Always smiling. Loved her family immensely. And was a true friend. Even with many miles between us we remained friends. We talked for hours on the phone. Talking about the “old” days and our struggles with life and how grateful we were were to have the families we had. I always missed our tea times. Donuts always. I loved her in life I will love her still. I already miss you Alice. 
Rest Easy my friend, you deserve nothing but the best. Love you,  my sister from another mother. My condolences to the rest of the family , you are the best. To all her great kids your mom was proud. And fortunate to be so loved by all of you.
