I did not know John Rumph, but his resemblance to my Grandfather Elwood and his brother Howard is amazing...Peace and Healing to the Rumph family...

Charlotte,  I’m so sorry for your loss. I will miss all his photos on Facebook of flowers in the yard and his grandchildren. I remember him saying how much he loved my Dad ( Uncle Howard) Rumph.   I remember him stopping at our house for lunch at least once a week when I was much younger.  I always looked up to him as someone very special and so did my Dad. 

To the Rumph  family ❤️I was so happy to have known Jack especially when he came into the salon when I first met him he asked me if I knew Bob Zetlin  so funny  I said he was my Grandfather ❤️Immediately we talked Bloomfield and the Toe Path ❤️Thanks for the memories my fellow Newark Ave friend say hello to my Mother please 🌸my love to you Charlotte you are truly an amazing friend Mother Grandmother and Woman🌸so happy to know you ❤️Love Debbie

I’ve known Jack for many years. I took care of his son Jacky at his day program. Jack always had a great sense of humor. The love he had for his son Jacky  was memorizing . He will be truly be missed . I absolutely know that Jacky will miss his dad and putting him in his place. Jack Rest In Peace. Love Daphne 

My heart hurts for all of you as you grieve the loss of Jack. He was such a nice and caring man. Your pain and sorrow are shared by family and friends. Sometimes there are just no words. When a loss occurs, those who were closest to the deceased person are inconsolable. Only time, introspection and emotional work can heal the pain of grief. We will miss you Jack.

I write this with a heavy heart.  I have so many wonderful memories of the Rumph family.  I’ve know Jack for many years.  His son Jackie came to our program for a very long time  He would appear  at the center with all kinds of drinks and goodies on a regular basis along with that awesome smile of his  face Jack was always offering a helping hand when needed. He always talked about his family especially Charlotte  and how much they all meant to him.   He was a good soul with a quick sense of humor.  I loved our conversations. He would always greet me with a hug.  RIP Jack and you truly will be missed. 🙏😢❤️

I knew Jack for the 15 years I worked at Lacey Easter Seals. I picked up Jack's son Jackie during many of those years. Jack obviously loved his son Jackie very much. Jack had a wonderful sense of humor and over the years he became a great friend. You could tell that he loved his family, his home, and his life. He considered himself a blessed man and he truly was. It makes me very sad to think that I will never see his smiling face again. Rest In Peace, Jack. My love goes out to all of the family members who will miss him so much.
