

Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Leonard was a graduate of Central High School and Seton Hall University.
He served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Korean conflict.
Leonard is survived by Doris, his beloved wife of 67 years. His loving daughters, Carol Moroz (Michael) and Nancy Persing (Kenneth), he was a proud grandfather of Timothy Moroz (Sarah), Jonathan Moroz (Kelsey), Matthew Persing, and Leah Persing. He is also survived by his cherished great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Connor, Hudson, Shea and Benjamin.
He worked at Prudential for many years, upon retiring, he went to work for Welling Associates.
Leonard enjoyed hunting, golf, playing softball and volleyball, sailing and crabbing, but, his greatest passion was traveling with Doris having visited every state and every country in Europe with the exception of one.
A Memorial service is planned for 2:00pm on Friday, December 29, 2023 at the Waretown United Methodist Church, 27 Bryant Rd., Waretown, NJ.
