Marie E. DeSantis, 97, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015 with her loving family by her side. Born in Walkhill, New York, Marie resided in Manahawkin for 30 years and in Hamilton Township, NJ for the last seven years.
She was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Blanche Barnes Baldinger, wife of the late Frank DeSantis, mother of the late Dorothy Schott and mother-in-law of the late Jim Sullivan.
Marie is survived by her son, Robert DeSantis and his wife Marge, daughter, Carole Frascella and husband Jack and her daughter Ann Sullivan.
She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren, her brother, Fred Baldinger and sister, Blanche Elsworth.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 12:00PM at the Thos. L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr. Manahawkin, NJ 08050.
Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Manahawkin, NJ.
Calling hours will be from 10:00AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
