Mickie (as they called her) was born in Brooklyn, NY to Peter and Elizabeth Villano. Her journey began as the oldest daughter of a large family, where she developed a talent for Dentistry. She became a Dental Hygienist and later moved to Dental Office Manager where she managed an office of 6-8 Hygienists and 2 Dentists. This was her first love, and she spent 10-12 years managing Dental offices in both NY and NJ.
After a few years, Mickie then decided to pursue a legal career by going back to college and earning her associate's degree in paralegal studies. After graduation, Mickie went on to work for a Law office and became quite proficient in learning the many intricacies of Law. But Mickie was not done.
As a steadfast Christian, Mickie immersed herself in helping others by becoming a Hospice Volunteer where she spent days, nights, and weekends counseling patients and their family members in the hope that their loved ones will have an eternal life in Heaven with Christ Jesus. Mickie served 15 years as a volunteer. But Mickie was not done.
After leaving her Paralegal career, she then decided to become a Substitute Teacher in the Livingston school district for 6 years. This opportunity was God sent because Mickie absolutely loved being around children, especially Kindergarten thru 2nd grade. She believed this was her calling and served diligently and faithfully up until she received the Pancreas cancer diagnosis.
Mickie is survived by her devoted husband and best friend, Roy Vincent; her two children, David Aichroth and his wife Kristy, and Bryan Vincent and his wife Jackie. She was the epitome of a terrific Grandmother with the love and caring she gave to her five grandchildren, Payton, Blake, Madison, Ava, and Dylan.
The three aspects of Mickie that people cannot deny was her 1) steadfast faith and love in Jesus Christ; 2) magnetic personality and 3) continuous giving to others. She was the life of any gathering and when she walked into a room you knew a nice and beautiful person just arrived. While she was an outright gift to us all, we will mourn her passing and celebrate the remarkable person she was. She will surely be missed.
