Patricia Anne (West) Coffey

Patricia Anne (West) Coffey, age 78, of Waretown, New Jersey passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021. Patricia was born October 24, 1942 in London, England. She came to the USA in the early 1960's on contract as a nanny. Patricia became an Citizen of the USA in 1970 - something she was extremely proud of.

Patricia received her Associates Degree in Accounting from Mercer County Community College. She worked for De Laval Steam Turbine Co. in Trenton, moving onto Commodities Corp. in Princeton which she loved the excitement of the Wall Street Trading Market.

In 1978, she and her husband, John "Russ" Coffey picked up and moved down the shore to Waretown after many, many years of fishing, crabbing and enjoying the shore life. Patricia was an active member of the Waretown Ladies Auxiliary for many years and President in 1985.

Patricia is predeceased by her late ex-husband, John Russell Coffey; Parents; Anne B. & Frederick West; sister, Joan West, June Watts, Rita Johnson, Audrey West. She is survived by her daughter, Lorraine E. DuPont; grandson, Kevin M. DuPont (Alexandra); granddaughter, Morgan R. DuPont; great-granddaughter, McKenna M. DuPont.

A visitation for Patricia will be held Monday, October 25, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Thos. L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Drive, Manahawkin, NJ 08050, followed by a funeral service from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the Waretown First Aid Squad.
