Paula graduated St Basil Academy for Girls in Philadelphia and then completed her BA in Education and certificate of teaching From West Chester University in West Chester ,Pa .
She taught in The Archdiocese of Philadelphia Catholic schools for 20 years retired in the early 90’s . She was pre deceased by her husband James Gallagher Sr and is survived by her sister
Kathleen Kane Mann and her 3 sons
