

Phillip was predeceased by his beloved wife Irene and his two sisters, Mildred and Marie.
He is survived by his loving children, Annette McGlynn, Mary Ann Cordiano (David), Lisa Quinn (John) and Phillip Jr (Allison), his cherished grandchildren, Vincent, Joseph, David, Christopher, Phillip and Georgie as well as his 5 precious great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
He was born and raised in New Brunswick, NJ. He then moved to Edison where he and Irene raised their children. Upon his retirement, in 1999 they moved to Manahawkin.
He worked in heavy construction and was a proud member of the Teamsters for over 40 years. He proudly served his country as a U.S. Marine during the Korean War.
He enjoyed gardening and woodworking and loved to cook.
Above all else, Phillip was a devoted and loving husband, father and Pop Pop. The times he spent with his family meant so much to him and brought him so much joy.
He also cherished his many friends and neighbors.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 2:00pm-6:00pm at Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin. A funeral home service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, April 23, with the burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Beachview Ave., Manahawkin.
