Ruth Wolf

Ruth Wolf, 96, of Barnegat NJ, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016. Prior to moving to Barnegat, Ruth was born and raised in Staten Island, NY. She worked as a telephone operator for Sullivan and Cromwell Law Office in New York City for 45 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Rosary Club in Pheasant Run and a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church in Barnegat, NJ.

Ruth was predeceased by her two sisters, Marguerite Kelly and Dorothy Currin, her niece, Colleen Kelly Saidibar and her nephew, Gary Kelly.

She is survived by her beloved nephews; Drew Kelly and his wife, Christine of NJ, Kevin Kelly and his wife, Celia of NY, Timothy Kelly of PA, Richard Saidibar and niece, Florence Kelly. She is also survived by her loving cousin, Betty Connell and her many precious nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and her great-great nephews.

Ruth was a role model and a mentor for her entire family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 2pm-4pm and from 7pm-9pm at the Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at St. Mary Church, Barnegat, NJ at 10:00am. Burial will follow at the Moravian Cemetery, 2205 Richmond Rd. Staten Island, NY.
