She was predeceased by her husband Nicholas.
She is survived by her daughter Susan, her son Nick and his wife Michele. She is also survived by her grandchildren Nicole and her husband Biagio, Nicholas and his husband Greg, Kellie and her husband Kyle as well as her great-grandchildren Biagio and Harrison.
Before retiring, Sylvia enjoyed a great career as a Head Bookkeeper.
Upon retirement, she enjoyed spending more time with family and friends. She was an avid gardener, growing flowers, especially roses. Her beloved beagles would be found always by her side, first was Scooby and then Archie.
Sylvia also enjoyed hosting parties for family and friends, going to the casino and playing the slots. She also loved to socialize.
A Memorial Service will be held on March 14, 2026, from 11:00am-12:30pm at Thos L Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin, NJ.
