Born in Brooklyn, New York, he resided in Edison before moving to Monroe Township.
Allen was a salesman for various commercial cleaning companies.
He was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Lynda.
Surviving are his daughter Stacy Shimko and her husband Paul, son Robert Zwick and his wife Garen, and five grandchildren: Marc, Paul, Matthew, Mia, and Lexi.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726.
