Born in the Bronx, N.Y. to the late Max and Ethel Cohen he lived in Old Bridge, N.J. for many years before moving to Jackson, N.J.
Prior to retiring, he was a mechanical engineer for Atmos Engineering, Kenilworth, N.J. Mr. Cohen earned his Bachelors degree from Newark College of Engineering. He was a longtime member of Temple Beth Ohr, Old Bridge, N.J.
He was predeceased by his late wife Rona, who died in 2003, and second wife Gladys who died in 2018, as well as his sister Doris Mandell.
Surviving are his children Laurence Cohen and his wife Michelle of New Orleans, LA, Randi Lyman and her husband George of Austin, TX, Bruce Cohen and his wife Lauren of Freehold and Peter Cohen and his wife Lorraine of Lincroft, as well as 9 grandchildren, Allison, Stuart, Benjamin, Craig, Steven, Madeleine, Ethan, Joshua and Kate.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 2nd at 11 a.m., at Beth Israel Cemetery, 1075 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge. Please meet at the cemetery office at 10:45 a.m. and we will all proceed to the service together.
