Denis Lustig

Denis is survived by his son Alan Lustig and his wife Alison; daughter Meryl Markowitz and her husband Charles; daughter Gena Jarmel and her husband Matthew; sister Sandra Levine and her husband Arnie; sister René Ruditz; granddaughter Jessamine Lopez and her husband Geoff; granddaughter Sarah Markowitz; granddaughter Larissa Verissimo and her husband Femi; grandson Bryan Markowitz and his wife Tehila; grandson David Rosenberg; granddaughter Carly Lustig; grandson Evan Lustig; great-granddaughter Calla Lopez; and great-grandson Ezra Lopez.

Mr. Lustig was preceded in death by his wife Sandra Lustig in February 2022; his parents; and his brother-in-law Stan Ruditz.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726 followed by a 12:30 PM committal service at Beth Israel Cemetery, 1098 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge, New Jersey 07095.

Shiva will be observed at the residence of Alan and Alison Lustig on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM; Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM; and Friday, May 12, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Shiva will be observed at the residence of Meryl and Charles Markowitz on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 following the burial; Thursday, May 11, 2023 beginning at 2:00 PM; Friday, May 12, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM; Sunday, May 14, 2023 beginning at 2:00 PM; and Monday, May 15, 2023 beginning at 2:00 PM.

Shiva will be observed at the residence of Gena and Matthew Jarmel on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM with minyan at 7:30 PM; Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM with minyan at 7:30 PM; and Friday, May 12, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
