Ed Laufer was a Holocaust survivor and a master story teller. A walking living part of history, people gathered around him to relive the tales of his early life. He had a love and an appreciation for life and was grateful everyday he woke up. He was proud of his children and grandchildren; always asking for them. He loved to cook and would be considered a foodie passing along his love for many traditional dishes and varenikas (pierogies). He worked hard, long and honest as a kosher butcher for most of his adult life.
