Born on September 14, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend, and colleague whose greatest passion was spending time with those she loved and putting others above herself. Fran worked for New York Life Insurance Company for 20 years, and then for Progressive Insurance until her retirement.
She is survived by her three daughters Ronnie Dreyer (Ken Irving), Randi Jurgens (Lee), and Karen Dreyer (Daniel Lieblein), and four grandsons Eric Jurgens (Chara Louka), Brett Jurgens (Caroline), Ryan Lieblein, and Adin Lieblein.
Fran was predeceased by her husband Herbert Dreyer in 2016, sister Lillian Silverman, and her parents Aaron and Ida Pechenik.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 20, 2026 at Beth Israel Cemetery, 1098 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge, New Jersey 07095 followed by shiva at Fran’s home.
In lieu of flowers, donations to be made to American Cancer Society, Lewy Body Dementia Resource Center, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
