Gerald is survived by his loving children Glenn Barad, Lisa Barad (Stan Stephansen), and Leona Barad, his brother Paul Barad, and his adored grandson Steven.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726 followed by a committal service at 2:15 PM at Congregation Sons of Israel Cemetery, 61 Wood Avenue (Route 522), Englishtown, New Jersey 07726.
Shiva will be observed at the Barad residence on Wednesday after burial until 9:00 pm, Thursday 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Friday 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, and Sunday through Tuesday 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
