

Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Palestine from the ages of 3 to 20, when he returned to NY. Dr. Teitelbaum lived in Albany, and came to live in Marlboro, NJ in 2000.
Prior to retiring, he was a Professor at Long Island University, Brooklyn, where he taught Statistics and Quantitative Analysis. Dr. Teitelbaum was also an ordained Rabbi, Certified Life Underwriter, author and artist.
He was predeceased by his daughter Arona “Ronnie” Trub, who died in 1988, his wife, Florence Schiffman Teitelbaum, and his siblings Nachum, Simcha, Bernard, Sam, Mordechai, Deena, Penina and Rose.
Surviving are his daughter Deena Charnofsky and her husband Michael of Matawan; 2 sisters Yocheved Zoretzky and Devorah Nesher, both of Jerusalem, his 3 grandchildren: Daniel Trub and his wife Maya Behar, Leora Trub and her companion Adi Flesher and Michelle Stein; and a son-in-law Jerry Trub and his wife Teri Manes, and their son Sam Trub.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 1:00 pm in Bloomfield Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan, followed by interment at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin.
