He was born on August 29, 1946, in Brooklyn, New York and resided in Marlboro, NJ before moving to Manalapan, NJ.
Jeffrey proudly served in the US Marine Corps Reserve during Vietnam War.
He was the District Sales manager for the NJ Lottery Entertainment & Gambling.
He was predeceased by his wife Joan Doris Hymowitz.
Surviving is his daughter Cori Read and her husband Michael, his sons Craig Hymowitz and his partner April and Howard Hymowitz and his wife Daily Hymowitz, his brother Lee Hymowitz and his wife Barbara and 3 grandchildren Jace Hymowitz, Eliana Read and Jason Read.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, NJ, 07726. Committal services will follow at Mount Sinai Cemetery & Mausoleum, 374 Hwy 79, Marlboro Township, NJ, 07751.
Shiva will be held at Jeffrey Horowitz Home, 168 Amberly Dr, Apt D, Manalapan, NJ. Sunday after funeral services till 9pm and Monday & Tuesday 1pm-4pm & 6pm-9pm.
