Lois Saundra Weiss, of blessed memory, ascended to Eternal Paradise on December 21, 2019, surrounded by her family, at The Jewish Home for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Freehold. Born on Valentine’s Day, she was the daughter of Milton and Rose Schneider. Lois graduated from Asbury Park High School in 1965, and later attended the Lyons Institute. For many years, Lois was a dental assistant in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. Her selfless care and concern for everyone, especially those who were less fortunate, was remarkable. Lois was a lifetime member of Hadassah and also volunteered for North Brunswick Township’s Meals On Wheels program, where she delivered “love and lunch” to homebound senior citizens. Lois was the proud and loving mother of Marlo Jenée Gorelick (Joe) of Clifton, Adam Sterling Weiss (Jamie) of Manalapan, and Dara Eden Weiss of North Brunswick. She is also survived by her three beautiful granddaughters, Lila Hope, Savannah Eve and Ariana Skye, all of whom she loved “to the sky and back”. The extraordinary love, warmth, care, compassion, humor and humility that Lois exuded was felt by everyone she touched. Lois was a phenomenal source of creativity, wit, wisdom, imagination, inspiration, and love, all of which will live on forever in the hearts and minds of her adoring family and many friends
