Rabbi Marc Sternfeld, 71, passed away on March 27, 2019. He is survived by his sons; Joshua Sternfeld and wife, Andrea Picott, and Jonathan Sternfeld and wife, Lydia, and his grandchildren; Lucy, Margaux and Arlo, and his brother, Monte Sternfeld. He is predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Arleen.
A funeral service will be held for Marc at Bloomfield Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan, NJ on Friday, March 29 at 11am, followed by a burial at Beth Israel cemetery, 1000 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge, NJ. The family will be sitting Shiva at the home of Jon and Lydia Sternfeld, 833 Pleasantville Rd, Briarcliff Manor NY 10510 following the burial on Friday from 3-8 p.m. If you would like to make a memorial contribution in Rabbi Marc’s name, the family asks that you consider the Alzheimer's Association.
