We were deeply saddened to learn just yesterday from Mr. and Mrs. Mogila about Marvin’s passing. Please accept our heartfelt condolences for your loss. Marvin was a special individual—his broad smile and warm, friendly personality always stood out. He and I shared a unique connection through our same 'old school' first name, which made our bond even more special.
He will be missed. Wishing your family peace and comfort in the wonderful memories you have of your dad.

I was Marvin’s trusted financial advisor for many years. We became good friends over those years and I came to look forward to his calls, filled always with warmth, good cheer and friendship.  He was one of my favorites. Goodbye to an exemplary man with both integrity and empathy. You will be very missed, dear Marvin. My deepest condolences to your  lovely family.

We heard about Marvin’s passing just yesterday.   My husband and I met Marvin about 9 years ago, shortly after we moved to Monmouth county.   Marvin was working at Freehold Jewish Center and when we walked in, he immediately greeted us with a big warm smile, making us feel so welcome.  Marvin was the reason we joined.  After just a few minutes of chatting it was obvious what a sweet man he was.

Sending sincere condolences to the family. Although with a sad heart, I have so many fond memories of working with Marvin.  Reflecting on our time at CHS, I am reminded of many fun times as advisors to the Class of 1978. I am smiling just remembering those times. Although we lost touch after both retiring, memories last. Be at peace dear friend.

He was my very favorite teacher. I graduated CHS class of 74. He was the best at what he did, which was to get me interested in what was being taught!! Last time we spoke, he invited me down to his center for a service. I’m sorry I never made it.. RIP

So sad to hear of Mr Krakower's passing. He was my current events teacher in 1986/87. I loved his class and Mr Krakower. He really listened to his students and gave them a chance to have their opinions heard and to have open discussion, sometimes the students disagreed with each other. I'm safe to say that there are many students  that know how to have a respectful conversation today because of what Mr Krakower taught all of us. It was so much more than history. 

To his family, please know your Dad and Grandfather touched my life and helped  form the adult I am. I'm so thankful to him and to you all for sharing him with me.

May Marvin's soul be bound up in the bond of eternal life. Marvin was a nice man always helping my mother at the Freehold Jewish Center before and after my father's passing.  He was a nice man. Gone too early.

Marvin really was the best. My family is better for knowing him.  Deepest condolences and he will be missed. If Mitzvas speed the passage to heaven he is already there. Your family is in my prayers.
