Melvin is survived by his wife, Deborah Solomon; his son Michael Solomon; and his daughter Stacey Nathan; his grandchildren Sarah, Samuel, Sydney and Maegan.
A funeral service for Melvin will be held Sunday, March 23, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, NJ 07726.
Burial will follow at New Montefiore Cemetery, 1180 Wellwood Ave, West Babylon, NY 11704.
The Period of Mourning will be at the Solomon Residence on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 1-5 PM, 7-9 PM and Friday from 1-5 PM..
