Born on February 9, 1949, Meryl was the daughter of the late Moses and Sylvia Silberberg. She is survived by her devoted life partner of 30 years, John Kleiner; her loving children, Karen (Steven) Hudes and Eric (Melissa) Green; her brother, Dr. Jeffrey (Ellen) Silberberg; her cherished grandchildren, Andrew, Hayley, Kelsey, Matthew, and Mason; her adored great-granddaughter, Lyra; and two nephews and one niece.
Meryl will be remembered for her quick wit, sharp sense of humor, and unapologetic love for life. She had a passion for needlepoint, and could hold her own in a spirited game of Mahjong. She adored her family, treasured time spent with loved ones, and never passed up a good shopping trip.
Graveside services will be held at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, New Jersey, on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
Meryl’s warmth, humor, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
