Myron Stein

Myron is survived by his beloved wife Elaine Stein; son Dr. Howard Stein and his wife Ellen; son Lawrence Stein; daughter Sheryl Stein and her husband Jim Sweetman; his sister-in-law Barbara Freeman; and seven grandchildren: Jared, Corey, Skyler, Mackenzie (Zach Weiss), Jake, Kira, and Julian. He'll also be dearly missed by cousin Michael (Pamela) Green and their daughters Jessica (Michael Leggett) and Shelby; and Joseph Ryan (Doreen) and their children Jon and Beth.

Mike, known for his brilliant mind, quotable humor, and warm heart, was a beloved family man; a Korean War Air Force veteran, and a trivia fiend. Professionally, he excelled for many years as the Branch Chief of the Specification and Design Drafting Branch at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. He never met a bowl of ice cream he didn't like.

A private graveside service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024.

Shiva will be observed at the residence of Dr. Howard and Ellen Stein on Friday at 1:30 p.m. and at the residence of Sheryl Stein and Jim Sweetman on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.
