Richard was born in Brooklyn NY, where he also met his future wife. He served in the US Army, stationed in Germany during the Korean war. He was a CPA, working for various corporations. He achieved his life-long dream of obtaining his pilot's license. His favorite was the quiet and peacefulness he found in gliders.
Richard is survived by his sister Linda, son JD, daughter Carrie, grandchildren Rashel, Heather, Kevin, and Jamey, great grandchildren Hunter, Tanner, Morgan and Aden, as well as other much loved extended family.
Graveside services will be private.
