Shirley Taylor, age 95, of Marlboro, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. She was born on August 11, 1929 in Newark, New Jersey. She grew up in Newark, New Jersey, later lived in West Orange, New Jersey and Boca Raton, Florida before she moved back to New Jersey in 1998.
Shirley is survived by her son Michael Ross and his wife Harlene; son Todd Ross; granddaughter Sari Schwarz and her husband Hunter; grandson Scott Kaufman-Ross and his wife Elle Ross; granddaughter Jenna Mills and her husband Jake; granddaughter Brandi Ross; granddaughter Amanda Ross; grandson Perry Ross; great-grandson Riley Schwarz; great-grandson Austin Schwarz; great-grandson Noah Ross; great-grandson Henry Mills; and great-granddaughter Sophie Ross.
Mrs. Taylor was predeceased by her first husband Robert Ross in 1966; her second husband Arnold Taylor in 1980; her siblings Anita Gray and Morris Rinsky; and her parents Samuel and Sophie Rinsky.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726 immediately followed by a burial at 2:30 PM at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, 189 Gill Lane, Iselin, New Jersey 08830.
The funeral service was previously livestreamed via Zoom.
Shiva will be observed at the residence of Michael and Harlene Ross on Thursday after the burial; Friday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM; Saturday from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM; and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
