Steve was always like a second father  to me after losing my own at the age of 12. He was a great person, an  excellent physician and  had always given  me the best possible advice while growing up like a real father. My thoughts  & prayers will  always be with his family and he will always be in my memories . ❤️⚽️🩺👨‍⚕️

Dr. Bohm was my doctor for many years. He always took the time to listen and thoroughly examine me. I still remember his great sense of humor and bedside manner.  I was sad when he retired and quite honestly have not found a practitioner yet that even comes close to the quality and care that he provided. May he Rest In Peace.

Steve was like a second father to me since the age of 12 when my own father was suddenly taken away from my family and I due to a heart attack. I could always confide in him no matter what the situation was and would always seek his advice like a real son would to his father. I had more love in my heart for him than words can express and although that I didn’t always agree with certain aspects of the advice that he had kindly provided over my own lifetime, I always was appreciative and respectful for his own views. He and another close friend of my father’s who was a general surgeon  had both inspired me to pursue a career in healthcare as 
well.  Although  the odds were against me since early childhood, I never would relent to the pressure.  I successfully had completed my first doctorate degree by the age of 28 but unfortunately had to relinquish my goal during the pursuit towards my second doctorate degree after a severe car accident. Unfortunately, this accident  left me with permanent physical injuries at the young age of 32 being unable to further practice and requiring a lifetime of medical care . However, I knew that I had made Steve proud as I had always intended to do so with verbal praise from himself directly for my accomplishments which meant everything to me. My deepest condolences go out to the entire family and his memories that I was very fortunate enough to have shared with him during my life will forever be in my heart. -David Zucker & Family ❤️🙏

I just learned of Dr. Bohm’s passing and want to extend my sincere condolences to his family. He was my doctor for 41 years and have missed him since his retirement.  I’ll always remember our talks and how he  shared his pride and joy and photos  of his grandchildren with me. 
May his memory be a blessing and may he rest in peace.

My heartfelt condolences to Deborah and the entire  family as you mourn the loss of dear Dr. Bohm.  Over the past 25 years working as an Endo nurse in the hospital with Dr Bohm I witnessed his kindness and professionalism  to all his patients. He loved being a physician but he loved his family more. He often spoke of all of you with such pride and happiness.  All of your weddings, vacations  and his beloved grandchildren were the highlights  he spoke of most often.  He will be missed and never forgotten. May he Rest In Peace.      

Steven was my favorite cousin, I have known him my entire life.  I am sad that I could not be at his funeral. A great legacy as evidenced by three amazing children and an extremely loving wife.  He always took great care of my parents, who adored him. May G-d bless his soul.

It is with a heavy heart that I heard of Dr Bohm passing, I started working for Dr. Bohm and Dr Ludwig in there private practice,  when I was only 18 years old as a medical assistant. With both there guidance, love and dedication they inspired me to become a registered nurse where I followed them working in their surgical center.  I learned so much throughout the years and will always cherish their patients of teaching me ,  Thank you being a great inspiration. You will be missed.

It is with Heart felt sadness that I am writing this. Steve was my cousin. When my cousin Debbie and Steve married I was in their wedding party.
 Steve was always ready to lend an ear and advice when medical conditions came up. Steve saved my mother's life when he diagnosed cancer...I will always be indebted to him. He told my son what questions to ask his Dr. when test results came back. We loved you and you will be missed.

 I have known Dr Bohm since I started as a new nurse in 1982.  He was kind  and caring to all of his patients and they all loved him. I became a friend of Steve and one of his first patients  when my brother (who worked with him in NY) introduced me when they came to visit in the early 1970s.  He was my GI but also my GP and everything else.  And he took great care of my father and my in-laws and others in my family.    He was always there when we needed him. Steve was my partner for 32 years. He helped me transition from Academic Medicine to Private Practice and eventually took me in as an Associate and eventual partner. We had  a solid professional relationship and together we  successfully  built our practice and established  an excellent reputation in the community.
Steve treated many patients who trusted him implicitly  and put their lives  in his capable hands.
I remember him most for the devotion , love and pride he had for his Family and the smile that came to his face whenever he spoke about them !
He will be missed by many and I extend my sincerest codolences to his Family and Friends !
