Sylvia's life journey took her from Russia to Poland, then to Israel, and finally to the United States, where she resided in Manalapan Township, New Jersey.
Mrs. Sadek is survived by son Mark Sadek and his wife Phyllis; her daughter Sherry Smith and her husband Erik; grandson Graig Sadek; granddaughter Erica Norris and her husband Bill; grandson Scott Sadek; granddaughter Kellie Smith and her fiancée Sarah Arroyo; grandson Brian Smith; and her dedicated caregiver Valentina Petrauskiene.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Sadek in February 2012, her parents Simon and Lena Kublanov, and her brothers Vova Kublanov and Mounia Rosen.
A funeral service will be held on December 21, 2025 at 9:00 am at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726 immediately followed by a committal service at 11:30 am at Beth David Cemetery, 300 Elmont Road, Elmont, New York 11003.
Shiva will be observed at the residence of Sherry and Erik Smith on Sunday after the burial; on Monday and Tuesday; and on Wednesday morning.
