Thelma “Terry” Rubinsky, age 93, of Marlboro, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on early Friday morning, December 19, 2025. She was born on July 13, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Julius and Eva Ashkenazi.
Terry is survived by her two daughters Rhonda Palatiello and Susan Farah; four grandchildren Jason Palatiello (Olivia), Adam Brodsky (Jaime), Jordan Palatiello (Natalie), and Danielle Perera (Jeff); and 11 great-grandchildren.
Terry was predeceased by her husband Gerald; sister Charlotte Mellon; sister-in-law Barbara Moskowitz; and son-in-law Richard Farah. She also leaves many other friends and family who will miss her immensely.
Terry was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. While living in Marlboro, she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She loved knitting, playing cards, and lunching with friends.
A private graveside service will be held at 11:30am on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Mount Lebanon Cemetery in Iselin for immediate family members.
Shiva will be held at the home of Rhonda Palatiello on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 from 6:30pm – 8:30pm and Wednesday, December 24, 2025 from 2:30pm – 4:30pm and 6:30pm – 8:30pm.
