

Dianne V. Louis, 68, of Manchester passed away January 2, 2015 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home with her loving family by her side following a period of declining health. She was born in Manchester on October 8, 1946, the daughter of the late Gregory and Athena (Stevens) Louis.
She was educated in the local school system and was a graduate of Memorial High School, class of 1964 and received her bachelor’s degree from Keene State College. Dianne was a dedicated educator during her career. Her first position was at Salem High School where in addition to being a physical education teacher, she coached softball, girls’ basketball and field hockey. She went on to be named Director of Admissions at the former NH College of Accounting & Commerce (now SNHU) and later the Assistant Director of Admissions at Bradford College in Bradford, MA. Returning to NH she was employed by the State of NH at NHTI in Concord.
Dianne was employed with Ellucian Co., the leader in Higher Education technology, as a Banner Student Principal Consultant for more than 16 years. Her higher education experience as a Registrar, quickly placed Dianne within the top 10 best and most successful Consultants among her peers. Along with Dianne’s busy and successful career, she placed an importance on assisting in mentoring the lesser experienced Consultants and was highly involved in counseling a number of her peers.
Dianne excelled at softball and basketball and as an, outstanding shortstop she led the Salem Woman’s Softball League in hitting.
She will be missed by her family and the many friends and colleagues whose lives she touched during her many years in the education field.
Family members include a sister, Mrs. Helena Malik of Manchester; a brother, William Louis of Hooksett; nieces, Lisa Malik, Kristen Louis-Kearns and Karen Louis-Bishop; nephews, Michael Cramer, Mark Cramer, Greg Louis, Peter Louis, Philip Louis, William Louis II and Derek Louis; grandnieces and grandnephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Peter Louis and a sister, Loretta Cramer.
The family of Dianne would like to thank the staff of Hillsborough County Nursing Home Unit B-2 for the exceptional care she received during her stay.
Calling hours were on Wednesday from 3 to 6 pm in the McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover St., corner of Beech St. The Trisagion service was held at 6 pm. The funeral service was held on Thursday at 10 AM in St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 650 Hanover St. Burial followed in Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
