Donna Jean Whitten

A New Hampshire native, Donna was educated through the Catholic school system at Villa Augustina School in Goffstown, NH, followed by St. Catherine’s of Siena School in Manchester, NH. After attending grammar school, she attended Pembroke Academy and Central High School in Manchester.

Donna served in customer service for most of her career and always found a position within her community. Whether she was serving food as a waitress at Applebee’s, or assisting customers at Extra Space Storage, she made many friends along the way.

Donna enjoyed many things in life, such as bingo, cooking, swimming, traveling, attending the annual Balloon Festival and playing games with family. Her most cherished memories were spent with her family, which whom she shared a special relationship with. Donna was a kind, loving woman with a heart of gold and will always be remembered for her ability to make all those around her laugh.

She is survived by her only loving daughter, Rhonda (Poitras) Collette of Hampton, NH; brother Stephen Quinn of Hooksett, NH; three grandchildren, Stephen Bolser of Suncook, NH, Nicole Bolser and Paige Collette of Manchester, NH; and two great-grandchildren, Chace and Chelcie Bolser.

In addition to her parents, Donna is predeceased by her two brothers, Thomas and Russell Quinn, and life partner Thomas Taylor.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 11:00 am at the St. Joseph Cemetery, located on 448 Donald St, Bedford, NH.
