

Elaine R. Milonas, 88, of Manchester died April 4, 2016 at her residence after a long illness. She was born in Montreal, Canada the daughter of Maurice and Loretta Pinsonneault. She moved to Manchester with her family at the age of 3 and was educated in the Queen City school system.
She was employed for many years at Paul’s Lunch on Hayward St. in Manchester but her true passion was in caring for her family. She enjoyed Big Band music and had an extensive collection of Frank Sinatra recordings. Elaine loved cooking for family get-togethers, working a challenging crossword puzzle and trips to Hampton Beach. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She was predeceased by the love of her life Louis Milonas in 1997 and by her daughter Patricia Milonas.
Members of her family include her daughter Saundra Milonas of Manchester, her three sons Paul Milonas of Northport FL, Christopher Milonas and his wife Elaine of Bedford and Marc Milonas and his wife Heidi of Auburn and seven grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday April 7 from 4 to 7 pm at the McHugh Funeral Home 283 Hanover St. corner of Beech St. in Manchester. A Funeral Service was celebrated on Friday April 8 at 10 am in the funeral home. Burial followed in Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Elaine’s name be made to the FSH Society 450 Bedford St. Lexington, MA 02420.
