

John N. Xintaras, Jr., 39, of Malden, MA, formerly of Manchester NH, died December 13, 2015 at his residence from a sudden illness. He was born in Hanover, NH on September 10, 1976, the son of John N. and Darlene (Marcoux) Xintaras, Sr. He was a graduate of Memorial High School Class of 1995 and New Hampshire College. He received his MslA from Norwich University, and he later became a CISSP. He was also a graduate of the FBI Citizen’s Academy.
He was employed by the Department of Homeland Security as an information assurance manager and had previously worked for Verizon Communications. John loved technology and gadgets. He will be fondly remembered as a loving and devoted partner, son, brother, uncle and friend.
In addition to his parents, members of his family include his fiancé and partner of 15 years, Vincent J. Tamuzza, MD, his sister Krista Comrie and her husband Chris, his sister Kerrie Poplin and her husband Lewis, his Goddaughter Kayla Comrie, his Godparents Peter and Joan Xintaras and his “in-laws” Joe and Josephine Tamuzza. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as his cherished dogs Otis, Oscar and Frankie.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 20 from 4 to 8 pm at the McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover St. corner of Beech St. in Manchester with the Trisagion Service held at 6 pm. A funeral service was celebrated on Monday, December 21 at 11 am in the funeral home. Burial followed in Mt Calvary Cemetery.
