KarenAnn Hamill

KarenAnn Hamill, 55, of Manchester, NH passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester after a period of failing health. She was born on April 9, 1960 in Waltham, Mass. the daughter of Arthur R. and Dorothy A. (Costa) Hamill.

KarenAnn graduated from West High School in Manchester and later owned Kays Country Store in Goffstown for 9 yrs., and worked at Fratellos for 8 yrs. She loved to fish, dance and travel. In addition to being a sun worshiper and very adventurous while skydiving and scuba diving, her free spirit was most appreciated.

She is survived by her father, Arthur R. Hamill (Grace) of Lunenberg, MA., mother, Dorothy A. Hamill (Ieuan) of Nashua, NH, sisters, Cheryl Jeffery (Paul) of Bartlett, Ill., Sharon Dow-Asburn (Ron) of Mesa, Az., Susan MacDermott (Ian) of Bedford, NH, step sister, Jane Gilon (Michael) of Auburn, NH, step brothers, Steven Harry of Andover, MA., and Adam Crossland (Patty) of Maynard, MA., nephews, Brandon Dow of Lexington, KY, and Liam MacDermott of Bedford, NH, nieces, Lindy-Kay Tsetseranos of West Dundee, Ill, Ainessa Rae and Christina Jeffrey of Bartlett, Ill, Becca Dow of Tempe, AZ and Makayla MacDermott of Bedford, NH, 2 great nieces, Cailynn and Charlotte Dow of Lexington, KY.

Family and friends gathered on Monday, February 16 from 11 to 1 pm at the McHugh Funeral Home 283 Hanover St. corner of Beech St. in Manchester. A Celebration of Life service followed at 1 pm. Burial was in Newton Cemetery, In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in KarenAnn’s name be made to the Farnum Center, 140 Queen City Ave, Manchester, NH 03103.
