

Rene A. Lacasse, 72, of Manchester and also Bradenton, FL, went home to be with the Lord after doing what he loved best, leading worship, on June 17, 2012. He was born on February 6, 1940 in Hooksett the son of Rene W. and Violet (Moquin) Lacasse. He moved to Manchester with his family at an early age and was a lifelong resident. He was educated in the Queen City School System and attended Manchester High School West.
Rene served his country in the US Marine Corps Reserve. He was an excellent mechanic and was employed for many years at Merrimack St. Garage and Duclos Auto Body.
Family was very important to Rene and the holidays and family get-togethers were always something special. He was a faithful servant of his Lord and was a former member of Faith Christian Center in Bedford and currently attended The Ark Church in Manchester. He enjoyed music, singing, baseball and his time spent quietly fishing.
Members of his family include his loving wife of 53 years Therese (Normand) Lacasse of Manchester, his four daughters Linda Rinehart and her husband Randy of Georgia, Pamela Parkinson and her husband Timothy of Florida, Donna Rinker and her husband Earl and Brenda Theriault and her husband John all of Manchester, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, his three sisters Yvonne Cotter and her husband Jerry of Florida, Deniza Chase of Manchester and Lorraine Wageling and her husband Andy of Loudon as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service was held on Thursday June 21, 2012 at 4PM at Shiloh Community Church 55 Edmond St. in Manchester. The McHugh Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
