

Adele WodarskiManchesterAdele Wodarski of Manchester, N.J. passed away in the comfort of her family and close friends on January 4, 2016 after a very brief, major illness. She leaves behind nieces, Deborah Dunne and Karen Greenwood; two nephews-in-law Bobby Phillips, and Robert Dunne.
Not to be forgotten are six great-nieces and nephews as well as eight great-great nieces and nephews all of whom have been an active part of Adele's family life. Finally, feeling her loss equally as much is Ralph Moscatello, a loving friend, with whom Adele shared good times, good meals, and fine memories of travel, and shared family events over the past two years. Adele was consistently high on life and we will miss her immensely for the joy and good companionship she brought to any gathering of family and friends. Adele enjoyed travel throughout the US and internationally and was always fun to have along to add to the pleasure of any vacation experience. Adele was well known and appreciated for her charitable works and giving nature, both for her time, good counsel, and financial donations. She was a devoted friend and sought to help out new and old friends get settled into their new homes or community. In particular, Adele was a valued friend and sponsor to Several Sources Shelters in Ramsey, N.J.
Adele was also very active as a volunteer driver for elders in her surrounding communities.Professionally, she excelled in her former career with SeaLand Service, later acquired by CSX, Inc., where she served for may years as an Executive Administrative Assistant to senior management. Known and respected for acumen and good judgment, during and after her service there, Adele served in senior administrative roles in the Seaport Credit Union as part of the management team and later, the Board of Directors.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home at 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, N.J. 08759 on Thursday January 7, 2016 from 3-7 PM. Funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Czestochowa Catholic Church, 120 Sussex St., Jersey City, NJ on Friday January 8, 2016 at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City, N.J. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested any donations be made in her memory to Several Sources Shelter, PO Box 157, Ramsey, NJ 07446.
